Over the years, midwives and doulas continually give feedback that their clients who do pre-labor acupuncture typically spend less time in labor, transition faster and notice less need for medical interventions, including pitocin, epidurals and even c-sections.

PEDIATRIC CARE
If your child is struggling with a recurring health problem, not responding to western therapies or they are just not recovering or healing like you except, pediatric acupuncture might be a good fit!

Non-needle techniques: Not all kids love needles as they often associate needles with the sensation from getting a shot or having blood drawn; however, Acupuncture needles have a much different and less intense sensation. If this is a concern or your child doesn't want to try needles after showing them, there are non needle techniques we can use such as micro-current, ear seeds, acupressure and pediatric Chinese massage called tui-na.
